Food has featured quite a bit in things this week.
We had sausage-gate.
I’ve been battling a nightmare issue of cookies and iframes with a 3rd party web application running on an Epos system.
I made a rather nice loaf of bread with just porridge oats, greek yogurt and bicarbonate of soda.
What do all of these things have in common and anything to do with something resembling a valid post on this platform.
Simple, little things make an impact.
A simple “Hi, how are you doing” to a colleague who seems out of sorts.
Good manners.
Whilst a slip of the tongue, a simple setting or a couple of basic ingredients don’t typically come up in every day life when understand the problem space or building a product, what DOES come up are those tiny details, easily overlooked that can be the difference between a good product or outcome and a great one.
The race to build the MVP or focus on the big picture is important but keep an eye on those little details as well as you’ll be surprised what they can do
